How to use it

Stir two to three teaspoons into hot milk for a proper hot chocolate, no packet mix needed.
Use it in coffee for a mocha style flavour, or in an espresso martini syrup.

How many drinks does one pouch make?

A 100g pouch is roughly 25 teaspoons. In coffee that is about 25 cups at around 20p each. Hot chocolate uses two to three spoons, so expect closer to ten mugs.

Why is there salt in a sugar?

A pinch of sea salt sharpens sweetness rather than making things taste salty. It is the same trick used in good brownie recipes, and it makes the cocoa and coffee taste more like themselves.

Does it taste like coffee or chocolate?

Both. The muscovado base already carries a rich, caramel depth, and the cocoa and coffee build on that rather than competing with it.

How should I store it?

Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place. Once opened, popping the pouch inside an airtight container helps it stay loose for longer.

Is it vegan?

Yes, every ingredient in Midnight Mocha is plant based.
